Baer Photography is the inspiration and vision of photographer and owner Brian Baer. Many years ago, while working through college at a local camera store, Brian gained the technical knowledge of photography. This, coupled with Brian's natural talent and creativity and background in graphic design, soon lead to the creation of his own business, Baer Photography.
Over the years, Brian has continued his education in photography
through professional associations like Professional Photographers
of Nebraska and Professional Photographers of America. In 2008, Brian earned the degree Master Photographer from PPA.
Brian has also been recognized eight times as one of
the "Top Ten" Nebraska photographers in the state of Nebraska.
Brian's images have been recognized by the Professional Photographers
of America and three of his images were accepted into the PPA Traveling
Loan Collection and published into a book of all Loan Prints. Brian
is also a Fuji Masterpiece Award winner. Brian is currently serving
as President of the Professional Photographers
of Nebraska.
In August 2002 Brian moved Baer Photography to a new location north of Kearney. The new studio expanded the size of Baer Photography's camera room making it possible to accommodate larger groups. But, one of the best things gained by the move was the addition of a 17 acre private photo park. The studio and surrounding area is nestled in along the Wood River. This is definitely not your typical Nebraska landscape. Over a thousand large mature trees on the property make for the perfect backdrop anytime of year.
Baer Photography's growth continues with a current staff of five full and part-time team members waiting to serve you.
